Man I’m sticking to my opinion. We should have kept Kadri. Hes a true 2C and his numbers would still be high end 2C numbers here. I don’t see him falling off a cliff either. Hes smart with a good shot.

I really like the idea of a Lehkonen-Mittelstadt- Rantanan 2nd line. Nichushkin should be on the top line. He opens up too much room for MacKinnon.

Andrew Cogliano is an amazing specimen. The dudes ripped up like Rambo and is basically a Honey Badger who never gets hurt, and when he does suffer a serious injury (I thought the neck injury was for sure career ending) the dude just heals like it’s no big deal. Incredible.

One year ago today I watched the team I’ve loved since the late 90’s finally do the thing for the first time since they won the cup in 2001 on my 11th birthday. I stuck through the hard times and the payoff and joy I felt was so good and the memory will stay with me forever.

When healthy, Franky was arguably the Avs best back up ever and one of the best in the league. I still think he could have been a starter if it wasn’t for the injuries. If he does retire, at least he got his cup and swept the Oilers to leave his mark. A fan favorite for sure.
