Not sure why the stereotype that Chinese factories still persists - Chinese labour is expensive and in demand, If you treat your talent poorly they go to the factory down the road and take their skill set with them. Nobody wants to toil anymore, and they shouldn’t have to.

Hangzhou has an “autism month” for special kids where it’s free entry for kids and half price for the parents. My kid has come a long way over the past 2 years - from virtually mute and screaming to fluent in two languages and sitting in regular school unaided.

Golf in China: a missed opportunity. Only 500 golf courses in China vs 2500 in Japan and 14500 in US! It could be easily the second biggest market, but unfortunately someone has decided it's not good for society. So many courses and clubs have closed.

Chinese factories are full of ADV's that do all of this logistics work without the theatrics of taking on a human biped form. Some factories dont even turn the lights on anymore as there are so few human operators on the production lines.
