So after a whirlwind few days I've found a new challenge as manager of Parson Drove FC it's a league I'm familiar with but I know there's a lot of work to do, the hard work starts now ⚽️

Well what a crazy 24hrs it's been and I now sit here manager of march town fc Im delighted to be given the role at a club that's really moving in the right direction, I wish Brett all the best and I can only thank him for bringing me to the club 18 months or so ago.

Two weeks have past now whilst the disappointment of losing my job is still very much there, the feeling of wanted to succeed and prove people wrong is stronger than ever, learn from on it and move on, whilst it's a tough lesson my circle of trust is smaller but ready to go again

Almost a year ago now I was at my lowest struggling with everything but now I'm in a really positive and loving life its not been easy but talking to people always helped me and would always be there for others knowing the struggle it can be first hand #MentalHealthAwarenessDay

Delighted with the lads a whirlwind week but they've kept focused on the job in hand, Needham had lost one home game all season but we got the ball down and played attitude and work rate was exceptional I asked them to do the supporters and themselves proud and I think they did

Tonight's Zoom training session, a player showed real experience when he needed to most, "get your weights ready lads" realising he didn't have any he produced two cricket bat's to lift the rest of the session @Mattless5 is back everybody 😂😂

Whilst hitting the 50 points target to many may seem irrelevant as a club this is a massive target hit alot has to go into it with very very few volunteers so to hit such a figure feels like a stride in the right direction it's not perfect but it's a work in progress, lots to do

Started my first game in 15 years today lasted 30mins broken toe the gaffer said I was man of match, I'm not sure tho, another season done honoured to work with this group if it stays together or not what a great season such a massive improvement on what we've done previously

Credit where credits due todays Referee was excellent we arrived late due to a long queue on the A14 he was understanding and considerate and then went to to ref the game very well to,don't get many like that so when you do praise is deserved 👏

After missing 10 of the last 11 games result aside today from a personal perspective felt great to be back with the group properly for the first time since my illness still recovering but big step forwards in that recovery today, lots of fight left in the team with 2 games to go

Yesterday was a very strange and at times frustrating day at 1.45 game was off because the kit colours were to close at 2.05 we were back on and wearing bibs 🙄 but credit to the lads they got a good point in the end and another strong performance pleased with the reaction #hares

Normally a two week break mid season would be a nightmare but these next two weeks mean lots of work will be done to try and get things right on the field, so much has been done off the field to get the environment right but it's time to get it right on the pitch busy few weeks

To travel to Yarmouth 2 weeks on the bounce deserves credit before a ball was even kicked but to battle and scrap till the final whistle and push a very good Yarmouth side was pleasing feel for the lads coming away with nothing from the game but the young lads deserve the praise
