Just heard that Dave Myers has sadly passed away. He was on half of the Hairy Bikers and a wonderfully cheery presenter of their cookery shows. Such sad news. Thoughts go to his family, friends as well as Si King his co-presenter who was a great friend to Dave. 😔😔😔 RIP Dave.

Well the best album for 1980 is the Motörhead classic Ace of Spades. It fought off a rather weak response from Rush, who took Permanent Waves into the final by an overwhelming vote but sadly never showed up for the final. That or the Motorbangers frightened them off... 🤔🤔🤔

John Motson has passed away aged 77. Gutted. Probably the best football (soccer for our overseas friends) to gild the microphone of commentary. King of the gaffs (although I’ve made some since) but also one that also punctuated his commentary with amazing facts. Sad Day. RIP 🥹🥹
