Ok so in the trailer, the Seraphim says “your gifts belong to us now”. It’s pretty clear that the Ancient Gods storyline is that the Maykr’s have snuck into the Fortress of Doom and stole Doomguy’s entire action figure collection, and he has to return to Urdak and reclaim them
