I'm in shock at the videos of Soho last night. The thing that breaks my heart the most is the Prince Edward Theatre in the background of all the videos. 1,716 empty seats in that theatre because it isn't safe to open but the 1,716+ people on the street drunk are safe? SoNO!! 😔

Don't look down on performers doing pantomime it's often what brings the younger generations to the theatre. It's helping to keep theatre alive for years to come. I have respect for any actor who can keep up with a panto schedule and often not make it home for Christmas day.

Became friends with a homeless woman during the pandemic & we would always have a good catch up. I hadn't seen her in months & I was a little worried. Today I was walking to the station and I heard 'OI BABE!' and it was her. She now has a home and had a big smile on her face! 😍

When we arrived at our row to watch Frozen a little boy was screaming/chucking himself on the floor. His mother was apologising. I said you don't need to apologise. He calmed down. She later explained he has aspergers. During the show he was LOVING HIS LIFE! Theatre is for all!

I had an Online representation meeting today and the first thing that happened was her Dad popped his head in the room and said "Tea in 15 minutes" then 10 minutes later the Mum popped her head in the room to say "Hello" I'm considering signing the Mum and Dad...

I represent my clients and they represent me. When you start an agency/become an agent you give yourself to a group of people you believe in and they believe in you. It's team work. It doesn't always work out but you don't know till you've given it a go. It's like a relationship.

Today I felt so guilty when I called a client with an audition. First she sounded excited due to what the audition was for & then she said: I'm meant to be watching DEAR EVAN HANSEN. Sometimes the gods of theatre are just too cruel. They give with one hand & take with the other.

Just popped in my head. First job I had to swing 8 tracks & the lead. I'd had a mental swing week. Different person every day. last show of the week I was dancing full out & then I saw the person I thought I was standing next to me. Can just remember thinking...Who the F am I? 😂

My 90 year old Nan had a heart attack & survived. Past few days have been so difficult. I rushed from London to see her & the first thing she said was "I don't know what I've got in for your breakfast" Even on her death bed she puts us all first. Send positive energy her way🤞

One of my clients got her dream job in the West End in 2018. During the contract she asked for a meeting and when I arrived she sat and cried then said "I'm pregnant" I told her dream shows are wonderful but so is the gift of life. It's time for a new role. I have a new bestie 😀

There's been a few incidents recently when I've been at the theatre and audience members start slagging the actors off during the interval. Clearly performers themselves. A) You don't know who knows them around you. B) If you really need to be nasty save it till you get home.

Having a glass of bubbles to celebrate that Open Air Theatre's can open. No show can open on the 11th July but we have it back & it's progress. We didn't have that yesterday and we do today. We must try and look at the positives. Fingers crossed for even more positive news soon.

I once saw a dancer fall off the front of the stage at the Dominion Theatre during We Will Rock You while Killer Queen was singing Play The Game now whenever I return to the Dominion Theatre I'm 100% on edge someone is going to fall off...I had a wine to calm my nerves tonight.

I've taken a huge risk in 2020 & opened @APAagent as I'm so over focusing on the negative things in life. We weren't put on earth not to take risks - life would be boring. TAKE A JUMP. We just might prove ourselves wrong & if we don't there's always cheap alcohol in Wetherspoons.
