Probably had the best interview of my entire life yesterday. This person told me we will have a 1 vs 1 question format. As in I ask a question and then he asks a question because he truly believes interviews are two way conversations. So very rare to see this.

Unpopular opinion: In some roles, freshers should NOT start their careers with early-stage start-ups. When you are new you kind of suck at your job and are learning. A start-up has no bandwidth to absorb those mistakes and provide mentorship Caveat: Depends on role and culture

Companies should realistically have waitlists of their jobs and notify candidates With so much drops, it only makes sense. Otherwise, companies are forced to start interview process from scratch when someone drops + this allows better communication of acceptance and rejection
