I finished my first paid contract as a developer! Static React site for a restaurant, using Next and Tailwind. It was fun and satisfying! Some of the CSS was obnoxious, but in the scheme of things I feel good about this project and being solid in my skills #achievementunlocked

The best advice I've ever received is "Be okay with being tired. You did things, it's appropriate to need rest, to recalibrate and integrate the experience." Grokking being tired is a natural and productive part of getting stuff done is a game changer It's a part of success

My evolution of git practices Was messy, experienced the consequences Now I'm going granular, issues => branches. Features commit at every juncture, instead of on completion. Solo repos are the place to practice, before doing it on the job. Practice like the job you want.
