We went up to Leeds this past weekend so my mum could surprise her first cousin on her 103rd Birthday!! My mum is 93!! They didn’t stop talking and laughing. Two amazing women with memories sharper than mine! So proud of them both 🥰

This print 'Goodbye Old Man' by Fortunino Matania was on my grandad's wall. As a child I recall seeing it but never understood its significance. He survived WW1. The picture must have meant a lot to him. I never discovered what happened to it after he died. Remembering it today😔

The silly songs, the carols (I learnt in my CoE school in the ‘60’s), the decorations, charades, board games, turkey & especially shopping!
