Sunday was Thurlby 10km! I wasn't actually going to "race" this event as the course is tough and after Wednesday but I ended up with a 12 min course pb, 2nd fastest 10km and fastest 10km this year! Obviously still on a high!

Back running in rainy england! Back on plan with 45 mins easy! My legs feel tight and swollen still from the flight last night. Had to fight to keep going but glad I got it done.

Often, I have to remind myself how far I have come in the last year! My weight issues were caused by hormone imbalances, and I'm still learning and progressing. Not where I need to be but a long way from where I used to be
Final race of the grand prix series. It was a really busy start and I got stuck slower than I was aiming for but managed to stretch it out. Gutted I wasn't under 30 but the avg pace was there. Happy to feel strong enough to race around my fasting now my body is used to it
4 and a half hours sleep a few gins and proseccos later.... up for parkrun and it was a speed session. 10 mins warm up then 3 sets of 3 varying speed work cool down the rest of parkrun! Only got a course PB ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐

So last night was the third of the Peterborough Grand Prix Series hosted by Werrington Joggers. I knew this course was going to be my best chance to hit that sub 30. The conditions were on my side and after 5 years of chasing I finally got it!

Yesterday at the end of my feasting window I went for my longer run ๐ this time I had eaten to close and felt sick but got it done. Still learning my body.
Double Tuesday part 1! Upper body session in the gym almost made it to 9 full press ups. Some people will hate and say my chest isint to the floor, but the coach says as long as 90' bend is achieved, it's a press up, so ๐

Last week was week 1 of my half marathon training. My biggest thing at the moment is getting my weekly mileage. 15 miles may not seem much to some but for me it's a lot alongside all my other stuff so I am really happy!
Heyy I just wanted to say I am still here and I have been tracking. Saturday I did parkrun with friends and then went to burghley house fine food festival. Life is about balance some meals you are allowed off.
Day 30 I've managed up to 2 mins. I've not made it as far as I'd hoped but also pleased with what progress I have made and will continue to work on my plank
Parkrun this morning. Continuing on doing intermittent fasting as it's worked well for me. Finishing my evening meal by 7pm and breaking my fast at 11am with a high protein shake and then 2 meals working on keeping a deficit. 10% body fat to reduce
Feeling very unmotivated today. Upper body session done in the gym and my coach throws in 1 set max reps of press ups which I felt a weakling in haha but still trying to work on them

Yesterday I did my first race since injury and furthest I've ran since mid September. Was really tough. Cramps for the first 4km :-( but I kept going and didnt walk and got a course pb! Man that was tough!
