We should unite and strive to raise awareness about uterine cancer throughout Uterine Cancer Awareness Month. As healthcare team members, let's work together to spread knowledge for the early detection, support, and empowerment of women.
When cancer starts in the uterus, it is called
#UterineCancer
(or womb cancer). The most common type occurs when abnormal cells grow in the endometrium (endometrial cancer). A much rarer type is uterine sarcoma, which forms in the muscles and supporting tissues of the uterus.

Vasa previa, a pregnancy complication often likened to a ticking time bomb for both pregnant patients and healthcare teams. Our recent publication in

reveals a perinatal mortality rate of 0.51% in prenatally diagnosed vasa previa cases.
Time to close the debate!
Cervical pessary in nonlaboring individuals with a singleton gestation and CL<20 mm did not decrease the risk of preterm birth and was associated with a higher rate of fetal or neonatal/infant mortality.
