Stop doing royalty free samples. have an entertainment lawyer write you a concise version of a clause in your packs that states something like: clearance not needed for smaller/underground releases. Only needed for major label/large indie releases. All %’s negotiable.

The most respected producers have used splice. Sign loop makers and use their stuff, sometimes cook from scratch. Sometimes collab with other producers. Sometimes sample from vinyl, sometimes use chord generators. Stop labeling what is and what isn’t cheating and go cook.
