Weโre set for the

Staff from
#TeamNorthCentral
are ready to help make sure everyone stays safe and has a good time for the

tour in North London tonight.
Super proud to have my article published in
@Para_Practice
this month to highlight the important work we are doing to improve patient care and staff experiences in
@Ldn_Ambulance
and across the UK via
@NatAmbLGBTUK
Exciting! Cages of newly packed and ready to go bags can only mean one thing - new primary response bags continue to roll out in
@Ldn_Ambulance
today. Iโm in
#NorthCentralLondon
supporting the process. Better kit makes it easier for our staff to do their jobs.
Today Iโm working with
@CPeterTRhodes
on an ambulance, responding to patients in North London.
Weโve dealt with a range of urgent and emergency cases, and have managed to safely keep some patients out of hospital.

Some work news - this week Iโve proudly taken up the role of Assistant Director of Operations for North Central London.
Iโm super excited to be leading this great team of people.

Today, Iโve working with the boss! Darren, one of our Dir of Ops, is also a paramedic so weโve been crewing an ambulance.
Not sure who was supervising who (๐คฃ) but weโve had a great day being clinical, and getting out to see staff.
#TeamLAS
Nope, we havenโt parked an ambulance inside by mistake!
This is the โSimbulanceโ over at our Dockside Education Centre. Im here for a team meeting so had to take a look - itโs a great resource for education ๐
#TeamLAS
Did a thing! MSc Healthcare Leadership finally completed ๐
Had a wonderful morning at
@unibirmingham
graduating with my

cohort.
Thanks to everyone whoโs helped me to get here ๐
#TeamLAS
Today I have been fitted for my reusable Full Face Mask. This is to replace the disposable masks we have been using during the pandemic so far.
Itโs a beast; but it provides the protection I need to help keep me safe, in certain clinical situations.

Todayโs the day!
Wishing everyone a safe and happy

Weโve got teams out on the road and in our control rooms helping to look after Londoners - a big thanks to everyone at

The rollout of our new vehicle based bags continues. This also means paramedics, including myself, are returning personal issue bags.
Hereโs my old and much loved green bag, and the new made-ready vehicle based version.
Itโs an important day at
@Ldn_Ambulance
HQ - we will be raising our new

progress flag later in celebration of Pride Month.

staff - all the details are on the Pulse for you to join in or catch the live stream.

Iโm out with Andy, a Clinical Team Manager today. Straight out at 7am this morning to back up our crews, and also a team from
@stjohnambulance
so far. Weโre providing clinical support and scene leadership.

So whatever you think about corporate branding, I reckon this looks pretty good, and a long time coming. Some pretty pictures of London on the new screensaver, too ๐๐
Iโm out supporting the
@Ldn_Ambulance
operations for
#RideLondon
today.
Iโve caught up with Andy, who I went to uni with. Heโs one of our advanced paramedics in critical care.
Andy is working with his team, Nate and Benji, responding to emergencies on foot!
#TeamLAS
From today our staff have access to
#jrcalcPLUS
using their iPads, meaning the most up to date clinical guidelines and notices are always available to them. This replaces a previous electronic version. Exciting times!
Today I had the pleasure of welcoming
@EmilyThornberry
to meet
#TeamLAS
staff at our base in Islington.
I talked about the challenges we face, and Emily was keen to hear what itโs like to work as part of our team delivering urgent and emergency care across London ๐ โ๏ธ
Today Iโve been on an ambulance shift with Sam, one of our Clinical Team Managers.
We saw some complicated patients, and managed to keep a number safely at home rather than to hospital.

The amazing promo shots of staff are really capturing the feel of this series - showing the real drama, grit and determination of our

Big shout to the teams from

Bit of personal news. Was chuffed to collect my
#AndersonProg
certificate yesterday along with friends and colleagues from my cohort.
Thereโs a little bit more to do (๐ซฃ) but Iโm so grateful for everyone whoโs gotten me this far - you know who you are, 21.2!
Bit of a retro throwback photo here - I was proud to work as part of the
@LDNairamb
team during 2012 and into 2013. Happy Birthday, HEMS!

Morning! Exciting day in North West London as the rollout of our vehicle based ALS bags continues. They provide better standardisation for delivering patient care, and add efficiency to our make ready function. These bags are ready to go out on vehicles today.
So this is great news! ๐ฃ ๐๐

Joining in 1975, heโs worked in a number of roles including as a driving instructor and clinical tutor.
Dabs (Group Manager) and I presented his long service bell and certificate.
Another ambo shift today, this time working with

Iโm at another one of our North London sites, where the vehicle preparation teams are getting ready to kit our ambulances with brand new response bags overnight and into tomorrow.
The bags carry basic life support equipment oxygen, and diagnostics.
Every day our teams ensure our ambulances are stocked, cleaned and ready to go to the aid of those in need.
Hundreds of ambulances are cleaned and equipped every day โ checked and restocked if necessary - so they can be out on the streets of the capital responding to patients.
One of the best parts of my jobโฆ this morning I visited Newham Team B to present
@Ldn_Ambulance
paramedic Perry with his 30yr service award.
His recently retired crew mate, Kevin (27yrs service), joined us to receive his Kingโs Coronation Medal.
Many congrats to both of them!
