Troops from the Soviet Union and other Warsaw Pact countries invaded Czechoslovakia on this day 56 years ago. This photo was taken 5 minutes away from where I used to live in Bratislava. A sobering thought.

was another mark in track record of the Kremlin to try to destroy every nation & country that wants 2B free from its totalitarian imperialistic dictate.
Today is the 54th anniversary of the Soviet-led invasion of Czechoslovakia. An event not to be forgotten. Thanks to the democratic revolutions in 1989 both Slovakia and the Czech Republic have become two of the most successful and peaceful countries in central Europe.
