Lost my wallet last week. Got it back today with nothing missing. Had to cancel and order 2 new cards with Irish banks. For @RevolutApp I could freeze the card straight away on the app and can now instantly unfreeze it. Competition is great for consumers and innovation!

Nonsense. We've seen many doors open to us here in the US BECAUSE of the good reputation of Irish startups. Many US VCs leading rounds in Irish startups in last 3 yrs. I meet an Irish startup every 2 weeks bypassing gatekeepers like the consultant below when coming here.

Independent of runway, it’s important for a startup to fundraise every 12-24 months, to “check in w/ the market.” The act of convincing a new investor to get conviction & set a price is a healthy checkpoint for all parties - founders, early employees & existing investors.

Twitter employs ~500 in Dublin with reports saying up to half global jobs going on Friday. @IDAIRELAND will have provided grants for many of those roles to be created. Should be a programme to reclaim that money and redistribute to domestic startups to create replacement roles.
