The great scholar of the Hanafi Madhab, Wahbi Sulaiman Ghawiji, has written: “He (imam Abu Hanifah) Al-Numan bin Thabit bin Al-Marzuban was from the children of the free persians, from a noble family, his origin being from Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.”

@MedSr01 Ghaznawids were full of Afghans, as most of his army were afghans. If you mean the ruler mahmoud was not afghan, well he was half Afghan from his mothers side, and he grew up with them in ghazni and spoke dari. There is a reason why his empire is called turco-afghan.

One of the strong proofs of him being a kabuli persian, is that his grandson is recorded saying that he was of the free persians. This view has always been the dominant one among the scholars of the four schools, specially the Hanafis, which strengthens it even more.

@PopalRoshana Allah never meant complete justice here, Quran has to be understood within its context of revelation. Many of the sahabah and those after them, who are humans like us, married more than 1. I will repeat, it’s not impossible, but rather possible to be just with more than 1.

@elerrantenomad Persians dont have tribes, and that is the main reason why persianess is so loose, its more of a culture and language than ethnicity. If the medieval Sunni persian scholars were with us today, they would be closest in culture, speech, dressing to afghan persian speakers.

@janeygak I would advise you do the following sister: 1. Read fatiha, ayatul kursi, two last ayah of baqarah(1 time) and the 3 quls, 7 times each on water MIXED with sea salt. 2. Sprinkle the water on every corner of the rooms/house. And inshaAllah it will disappear.

Imam al-suyuti and Ibn Hajar, have claimed that when the prophet praised the persians, in the below hadith, Imam abu hanifah is specifically included in it. This view was also held by the great Shah waliullah among others.

@BiruniKhorasan When pashtun says afghan scholars, he does not mean pashtun. He merely says that he originated in these lands of afghanistan. Just like every other nationaly claims scholars who originated in their lands. If afghans cant claim him, then no one should.

@JournalismPopal There are 3 opinions on misyar: permisble, makruh and haram. Even some of those who allowed it, later retracted their view like ibn baz and ibn uhaymeen. Considering all this, the saftest option would be to stay away from it. Not everything allowed should be practised.

@paykhar @janeygak The revenues for bait-al-mal are fa’i, ushr, kharaj, income from public properties and more. In case the bait-al-mal revenues are insufficient in running the state properly, the islamic obligation transfers from bait-al-mal to the muslims as whole, hence the allowance of tax.

@MedSr01 Correct. Also, in the book” The third omar” the taliban historian and scholars have written that ghaznawids is a predecessor of the afghan empires and see them as inspiration, similar to the ghurids and abdalis.
