The next day, my neighbour phoned to say she had spoken with 3 different people (she assumed they were all doctors). They all asked her similar questions. She did not receive a script for antivirals.

I phoned my neighbour and together we completed the VED registration form. This took us 30 minutes. My neighbour then had a telehealth appointment with a nurse at VED. She was told that a doctor would arrange a antiviral script within 24 hours.

With my neighbour on the phone, I registered her RAT. This was straightforward. I then phoned the local respiratory clinic. I was told "you are number 1 in the queue". After 45 minutes, I gave up. I then clicked on the link to VED.

3,402 have died from Covid in Australia. 1,330 were residents in aged care homes. 39% Richard Colbeck and Greg Hunt can no longer pass the buck on their numerous failures to protect older Australians in #agedcare homes. Is this criminal neglect?

During the current outbreak, 138 residents have died - 66 in Victoria, 65 in NSW and 7 in ACT. If Minister for Aged Care had honoured his word and ensured all #agedcare residents and staff were vaccinated by Easter, this tragedy could have been avoided. #VoteGregHuntOut

#Whybrow timeline skips over the lies #BruceLehrmann told about why he needed to go to PH, and what he did while he was there. Instead he uses his submission to discredit Brittany Higgins. His so-called "independent objective evidence" is full-on victim-blaming. Shameful.

I then suggested she phoned her pharmacist. Her pharmacy was closed. I then phoned the @healthgovau coronavirus hotline. After a short wait in the queue, I spoke with a someone who was very helpful. 2/5

There are outbreaks in 10 aged care homes in NSW. Aged care homes in lockdown allow unvaccinated staff to work with residents but not fully vaccinated families to visit their loved ones. Surely visitors who are fully vaccinated are less risk to residents than unvaccinated staff

@theheraldsun Of the 819 people who died of Covid in Vic, 655 (80%) died in private aged care homes. Although @richardmcolbeck @GregHuntMP @ScottMorrisonMP deny responsibility, the federal govt is responsible for the systemic failures in the private sector that resulted in preventable deaths.
