Man ist dem Urteil - egal ob positiv oder negativ - hilflos ausgeliefert, weil man das beurteilte Attribut nicht beeinflussen kann. 2/3

Sexualkunde (inklusive aller Orientierungen, die nicht hetero sind), ist Aufgabe der Schule, und damit im Unterricht in der Tat wichtiger als der Umgang mit Geld. Gut erkannt!

@DougDinsdale "Fetus" is the only word of the three where -es or -i are the only plural options. As mentioned above, for octopus "octopodes" is also correct, for "hippopotamus", the word can remain unchanged as a plural. The interesting question is one of etymology here.

@DougDinsdale As a matter of fact, it *does* apply to them. Contrary to wide-spread belief, the original plural of octopus is not "octopi" but, indeed, "octopuses" (or, if you want to be extra correct, "octopodes"). In all three cases, both forms (-es and -i) are considered correct by the OED.
