This morning I brought ‘profiteroles’ into work and no one knew what I was referring to until they saw them. Am I totally ‘out to lunch’ that this is how you actually refer to them? Haha. I mean, it’s what it says on the box 🤷🏼♀️
Excited to announce that I am moving to Vancouver next week to join the incredible team at
@CityNewsVAN
. So grateful to have gotten to tell the stories of Edmontonians the past six months.
I started my career with Rogers TV in Kitchener covering the OHL and doing sports
Going to miss all my amazing colleagues at

. Goodbyes suck, but I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned the last year here. Thank you for letting me share your stories. It’s been an honour to keep the seat warm for

Legit. I just paid $12 on my personal credit card to have wifi for the duration of this flight so I could continue to quash ridiculous rumours. I take my job very seriously and when someone tries to discredit me and my colleagues I take offence and want to be able to clarify.
I received several calls and texts from friends and family in Ontario expressing their gratitude to
@jkenney
in the last 24 hours for sending supplies to other provinces. They asked me to thank him for his leadership and kindness. We really are all in this together ❤️👏
We are in it together,

I’m pretty sure some of the folks sick with
#COVID19
in BC were born and raised in Alberta.
Credit to the people & Government of British Columbia for such a strong response to the pandemic.
It absolutely shocks me how much misinformation the NDP and their union-affiliate bosses constantly spread. As per Section 21 of the Employment Standards Code, general rules for overtime are not changing
#ableg
Jason Kenney's second Pick Your Pockets bill would allow your boss to impose a situation on you that requires you to work MORE than 44 hrs/wk, and they are NOT required to pay you overtime.
He's giving more power in the hands of your boss, and taking it away from you.

Journalism and breaking news sometimes means editing in the dark in a stranger’s driveway (with permission) because your laptop died and you need a reliable power source 🎥 📺 🎤
My attempt at a Christmas photo 🌲🧑🏼🎄with my pup via camera timer and my phone leaning against a coffee mug on the counter 📸 🐶 😂 Wrigley does not look impressed
I’m so truly proud of my Dad and had to share this: He is 70 ‘years young’ and is living with Parkinson’s. He’s trying to stay active to delay the onset of symptoms and recently started boxing to help him keep moving— he’s totally loving it! Way to go Dad! 🥊
What an amazing few years it’s been travelling the country & working in media. I’ve learned so much and went from Edmonton to Fredericton, NB to London, ON. I’m very excited to start the next chapter back in Edmonton next week at the legislature.

After a tough few weeks of social media attacks, harassment/vile comments...I’m walking through the holidays like, “backkkk off trolls!” So grateful for all the support I received this week. Thank you to everyone for the kind words and messages. It’s important to talk about it.
Since my car accident the end of January I’ve felt like I’ve been “surviving— not thriving”. Finally feeling so much more like myself this week and not having as much daily pain. It’s been a long road and I finally feel like things are looking up 😃☀️
My Dad officially hung up his skates tonight in Kitchener because of his battle with Parkinson’s... and his teammates honoured him with a beautiful
@CanadiensMTL
jersey and had him drop the puck at the Aud ❤️❤️❤️
Officially another year older (and maybe wiser? 😂) It’s definitely not the Birthday I would have envisioned, but this pandemic has really made me appreciate the importance of gratitude. I feel very blessed to have my health, amazing friends/family and incredible colleagues💐💕
One more show to go before I pass things back over to
@RetaIsmailCTV
Thank you for letting me keep your seat warm, and thank you London for letting me tell your stories 💕❤️
@CTVLondon
It’s been an honour
After eight years hosting baseball in Edmonton, I am no longer with the current local team. I am grateful for the opportunity and wish the team all the best with the rest of their season 😊 ⚾️
The great news is that there’s lots of festive things to do solo in
#YEG
. Tonight I broke in my skates on the Victoria Park Oval and then went and walked around the Legislature Grounds. What an incredible city we live in 🙌🏻💕❄️⛸

The NHL Alumni Association is heartbroken to learn that Canadian sportscaster, Darren Dutchyshen, has passed away at the age of 57.
We send our deepest condolences to the Dutchyshen family, his friends, and teammates at TSN during this extremely difficult time.
Life is good 💕 So grateful for my current job & the people I work with 🙌🏻— It’s also important to take a moment though & look back on accomplishments. Sometimes we forget just how far we’ve actually come. It’s important to be proud of ourselves, self-reflect & have self-love ❤️
There are still no words to describe the tragic events in Fredericton, but as we drove to the church yesterday to pay our final respects to a true hero, people lined the streets of Saint John along with many first responders to pay their respects to Robb. Still so surreal
Officially done my last shift at
@Global_NB
&
@globalhalifax
. It's been an amazing 2+ years and I'm so grateful for all the experience I've gained. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their stories with me. Stay classy New Brunswick :)
First run tonight since my car accident in January. A little rough, but managed to do 3.5 k with 10:1s without any concussion-like symptoms coming back. Still in physio twice a week for my neck, but being able to get outside and run is a huge victory 🙌🏼🏃♀️😃😃😃
Missing the London backyard turkeys today 🦃 😂 Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. I’m thankful for good friends, family & the warm welcome I’ve received coming back to Alberta.
Well, we are officially puppy parents! It’s only been a week, but we are so in love with this little guy’s face 💕 🥰 Meet Wrigley (aka Mr. Wriggles 😂 )🐶
Today was an absolutely tragic day. There are no words that can express how much my heart breaks for one of my best friends & her family & everyone impacted by this tragedy. Robb was one of the nicest, kindest ppl I’ve ever met. Sending prayers & love to Fredericton tonight ❤️
Just heated up vegan, meatless Bavarian sausage and my boyfriend actually ate it and said it wasn't bad! I also made nachos this week with dairy-free cheese and he ate those too! 🙌🏼

We made it to

today to the

. Such a neat place! Three hours left to drive tomorrow to Edmonton 🙌🏼 Ready to take a break from driving. It’s been a long journey, but one I will remember my whole life 🚗
I’m not really one for posting selfies, but today’s unveiling of Alberta’s
#OpenForSummer
plan warrants one. (It’s also been months since I could really smile at anyone without a mask!) I am SO looking forward to a great Alberta summer (+ not having roots 😂💇🏼♀️) ... (1/2) ☀️😍🎉
Such an emotional day in our city. A few photos from the Regimental Funeral procession to honour the lives of Constables Jordan and Ryan

It’s been a busy few weeks moving home to Ontario from New Brunswick, starting a new awesome job, finding a place, moving into a new place and trying to get settled. Hoping to get into a routine soon and get out running again now that I’m almost unpacked in London :)
A very emotional day, but a beautiful service. There are still no words. So grateful to be able to be in Fredericton to say goodbye to one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Thank you to all those who serve their communities & put their lives on the line every day
FINALLY got all my Edmonton stuff from the pod that was in White Rock. It took five trips, but I’ve never been happier to have my coffee maker, clothes and so many other creature comforts I haven’t been able to access since February. I know it’s all just ‘stuff’, but I already
It’s been a pretty good winter so far :) I haven’t had my power go out for 12 hours/needed my head lamp. ..Haven’t been hit w/ 60 cm of snow in one dose..or had to plan events around generators— there is however 1 New Brunswick winter tradition I will continue to indulge in. 🥳
I was attacked for a personal trip I took & paid for on my own dime. I was also called names I would never repeat out loud & had people tracking my flight. At the end of the day, no matter what job we do & what side of the political spectrum we are on, we are all still human
He may be done with playing hockey, but my Dad won’t give up the fight against Parkinson’s anytime soon. Such a great night for him
@CTVKitchener

Heading back to Fredericton tonight. Some big news to share: This will be my last week in NB. I’m so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had w/ Global the last 2+ years & I’m really going to miss
@TylerLCampbell
but I’m excited to return home to Ontario for a new adventure
So Joe, you're saying hardworking Albertans should be forced to pay union dues to fund causes that literally campaign against their jobs? Eg. UNIFOR's lawsuit against Northern Gateway Pipeline... (1/2)
#ableg
#abpoli
@BrockWHarrison
So you're saying that all the unions are super-pleased with everything your government is doing & this'll all pass? That's quite the take. All the fighting between your press secretaries &
@gilmcgowan
is just for fun, right?

Tomorrow is a day to pay it forward & show kindness to others. I will never forget waking up and checking my phone to see the horrible messages. Thank you to those who serve and put their lives on the line every day for our safety. There are still no words. 💙
