Lotte Wubben-Moy is probably a shoe-in for Arsenal Player of the Season & she was brilliant at the back once again today. But Victoria Pelova is in with a fair shout too. That’s two games now against Chelsea she has run that midfield. She is really growing into that pivot role.

5 years ago, Leah Williamson wasn’t even in the Euros squad 3 years ago, she only played 6 minutes late on against Cameroon at the World Cup. Now she’s a nailed on starter, the team captain, & will lead the team out at a home Euros. I’m still not over just how amazing that is.

When Kim Little came on today, Arsenal looked a different beast in attack. When she came on against Liverpool, the chances suddenly started flowing. Arsenal have nosedived since that Chelsea win pre-Christmas, when Kim Little limped off. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

This was brilliant. Emotional yes, but also fascinating to watch the pair of them get through their recovery together. And also, strangely, funny. Despite the horror, the trauma, emotional and physical, there are plenty of jokes as well as they manage their rehab. Mostly by Viv.
