Coaches SHOULD NEVER lie. In 24 hours I’ve been told 3 coaches in 3 sports in 1 school have lied to kids to their face about PT and then when it didn’t turn out that way they didn’t bother apologizing. If they don’t trust you, they can’t learn or produce for you.

My favorite part of being a coach is being able to cultivate long lasting relationships w players. In the last week I’ve talked to over 20 former players. In order for them to buy in as a player, they have to know you love them! If you love them, that relationship doesn’t end‼️

Just had this discussion… a HC didn’t hire you to be a yes man.. he hired you to give input… never be the guy on Saturday meeting saying “I knew they were going to do that” Give suggestions… and if the HC doesn’t like it… probably not someone you need to be coaching for.

@BeADogWV Reasons are pretty simple. Coaches (not all!) are openly recruiting kids and in the kids DMs and parents DMs. Which supposedly is against the law. But so far when brought up to the @wvssac they don’t seem to care.
