Casting agents have way too much power over actors so they’ll say stuff like this and get actors agreeing with them publicly. A reminder that actors don’t get paid to audition but you guys do. Stop complaining that their unpaid work isn’t up to your standards

Dear Actors, please, when you are asked for a selftape (and given adequate time), LEARN YOUR LINES before taping. We see SO many tapes where the actor is reading their lines and it's highly distracting and doesn't give you the opportunity to properly show off your skills!🙏🙏🙏

I’m not even a talent scout in the industry but I’m more proactive than half the people whose job it is to find new talent. I introduced Harry to the writer and one of the cast and gave him £500 to go and make the film. All because I believed in the lad. Look at him now :)

I've read 500 scripts on my pay-what-you-can scheme - if I charged my full rate I would have made over £75,000. Not sure whether to be happy or throw up. But seriously it's been one of the best things I've ever done in my life! I hope to keep doing it forever!!

Been getting some lovely thank you messages recently from people I’ve helped with my notes thing. Getting meetings with agents, production companies and places on workshops... not really sure how long I’ll be able to do this for but it makes me feel all warm and full of custard
