For everytime I see weezy and remember my addiction to his songs especially John with Rozay,I say Alhamdulillah all over again. Leaving music was very hard but so beneficial. I didn't leave it alone,I replaced it in my heart with a greater portion of the Quran immediately.

The Imam shouldn't prolong the Solah during fajr bcos you can't afford to be late for work. During Zuhr,he shouldn't prolong the Solah(2-4 min) as you took a break from work. Ishaa again,Imam pls shorten it we are tired after a long day. When exactly will you not be in a haste?

This is my grandpa. Comes to masjid an hour before Subh, stays in the masjid after Zuhr in anticipation for Asr,goes home after Asr,comes back some minutes before maghrib to observe maghrib,stays again in anticipation for Ishaa. He's been doing this for more than 10yrs now.

Memorizing the Quran might be easy,at times hard. A page at times might be for 3-5 mins,at times an hour. Don't ever compare your progress to your friends as theirs might not be easy too. Don't be in a haste to complete it. Perfection is more important and please ALWAYS REVISE.

Tabarruj is the shameless display of adornment by the women folks like the people of the jahiliyyah times,the women who do this are the mutabarrijaat. Dayooth is the man who has no protective jealousy as regards his wife or female relatives. They both won't enter Al jannah.

When people greet you with the Odun greetings like; A Ku odun, A Ku iyedun The moment they get to the "Emi wa a se pupo" part ,just add "lori daadaa" because that dua is incomplete. It is not the odun that's important,what's more important is celebrating it upon khayr.

There's more to your Quran recitation than shouting and beautifying your voices. The most important aspect of reciting the Quran is the correct pronunciation of letters and application of the basic ruling of tajweed. Pronounce well first,before you beautify your recitations..

Apparently one of my sisters in the Masjid has been dating a brother called Mudathir for a while. Today she was meant to memorize Suratul Mudathir and when we read the first verse,the others shouted "Hmmmm Aisha" Pelu gbogbo "dating is haraam" ti mo n pariwo I just dey play.

Observing Solah with those trousers exposing some parts of your thighs is generally not permissible for those places are part of your Awrah. Perfect covering of your awrah on Solah is from the Waajibat of Solah. Don't waste your Solah,make sure you're properly covered.

Be moderate in your recitations oh you who's leading the Solah, for behind you are the aged,the weak,the pregnant and the nursing mothers,but do not be in a haste. Don't be hasty, observe the Solah moderately and happily like a slave who's so happy in the presence of his master.

For everytime i read the hadith "Allah will not accept the prayer of any woman who has reached the age of menstruation unless she prays with her Khimar", I ask myself the following Are the ones praying in tight trousers,shorts oblivious of this or they are just stubborn?

The ones in the grave aren't even concerned about how cold the weather is,all they desire is to come back to the world to amass more good deeds perhaps their punishment might be eased or their enjoyment increased. Why not take the chance? Do not abandon fajr in congregation.

A picture or video of a Muslimah( even if she's fully covered) is one i would never share,upload or comment on even if she's reciting the Quran or reciting a beneficial Hadith or lines of poem. Her pictures/videos are not meant to be on SM in the first place,why am I aiding her?

The indecencies now apparent in the Ummah could better be traced to their deep friendship with people of other faiths. Abdullah prefers to be friends with Jonah rather than Abbass because Abbass is 'too serious with the deen' and wouldn't be happy seeing him sinning openly.

On a more serious note,do you people know this is an offshoot of Adhkaar in Congregation? A bid'ah no matter how insignificant would always give rise to a bigger one till it takes one out of the fold of Islam. This is from the derivatives of "ASALATU". May Allah rectify us.

Your prayers as a Muslim woman in trousers,tight clothing or mini with your arms ,feet,neck exposed would never be accepted by Allah. Your clothing for Solah and at all times should be free flowing,long and should cover your whole body parts save your palm and your face.

Regarding the morning and evening Adhkaar, do not be from those who doubt it's importance and efficacy. They are authentically reported from our predecessors, likewise their importance. Ikhwah, remember the Morning Adhkaar and do not for once joke with it. Assalamu alaykum.

From the Sunnah of the adhan is that the muadhin (the one calling to prayer) has a very long reaching and beautiful voice. This was the major reason why Bilal was picked by the prophet. The sweet voice is also a means to increase the congregants. Beautify your adhan,it's Sunnah

This might be the time for sisters to learn the concept of Hijab in Islam. A lot of the Jilbaab we see these days are devoid of the basics of Jilbaab which is to be free flowing and wide,free of adornment,not be an adornment itself. Don't style it,just leave it that way..

Brothers should fear Allah and be mindful of their pictures/videos which they post online. The way we regard the pictures of sisters as fitnah to us is the way ours are to sisters also. Help them to lower their gaze,help them win against shaytan,don't help shaytan over them.

We are not even looking for spouses that have memorized the whole Quran ,books of Hadeeth ,can speak much of arabiyyah again We just want someone whose aqeedah is free from blemishes ,manhaj is clear, willing to learn and be a dutiful spouse to us. May Allah grant us the best.

Reading translated books like Men around the messenger,Let us be Muslims,Don't be sad,When the moon Split,At taubah,The Sealed Nectar and others does not put you in the position to vilify the honour of the scholars. Much is attached to the scholars as regards their importance..

From that little you know as regards the deen,once a while share them with your parents especially the aged ones. A lot of our parents are open to learning,our approaches have just been wrong,and yes we tend to not be too patient with them. Employ good words,wisdom and patience
