The Prophet’s ﷺ marriage to our mother Aisha was brilliant and beautiful. She was a scholar, a jurist, and a worshiper. Great portions of the Law came to us through her and human civilization was advanced by her. May Allah be pleased with her.
It doesn’t matter if you tweet an ayah or hadith and it gets low engagement. People read it without clicking like, and you have performed an important duty in Islam. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Convey from me even one ayah,” Keep up the good work!
Al-Ghazali says each blink of an eye contains two blessings from Allah, closing and opening. Likewise, each breath contains two blessings, inhaling and exhaling. Every blessing from Allah is infinitely compounded one upon another, thus they can never be enumerated.
The Ex-Muslims of the East wonder how I could turn my back on the Western values I was raised with. They misunderstand the Book of Allah. Islam was not revealed to destroy Western culture. Islam was revealed to reform it, to enrich it, and to save it from idolatry.

Islamic Meditation
1. Meditation in Islam is none other than remembering Allah (tadhakur) in solitude (khalwa). It means spending time alone, away from people, for the sole purpose of remembering Allah with the heart and tongue. Not merely ‘me-time,’ rather Allah’s time.
“This nation of mine has been granted mercy. Their punishment is not in the Hereafter. Their punishment is in the world through persecution, earthquakes, and slaughter.”
