After an accident Bailey had a hole in his diaphragm & his organs had moved through the hole into his chest.He now only has one kidney.He came to live with mama in April 2011 & had his 14th birthday Sept last.Can we get some love for him? #CatsofTwitter

My little girl likely has cancer. I need time to process this. I don't know how I will cope without her. She's the light of my life. The vet & staff praised how good she was having her scan. I love her SO much. She's currently enjoying some food. ♥️ #CatsOfTwitter

I've started to prepare a special corner for Abi (she's not home yet). I received something in the post today from the mobile vet who came when needed - it was a handwritten card & a packet of Forget-Me-Not seeds. I'm still crying/sobbing at some point every day. ♥️you Abi.

Little Abi is home 💔 but I can't bring myself to look in the box (my mum's looked). I have her pawprint too. I also received today some prints I had done. I've put the one of Abi on the windowsill in a frame in the spot the photo was taken. She loved to sunbathe there.

Abi ate some Purina late last night & again this morning but refused everything since. I just managed to get 20ml of food via syringe (better than nothing). She wanted to look out the kitchen window so I lifted her up as she's too frail to jump that high now. #CatsOfTwitter

I found emails from 2011 from my dad with photos he'd taken of Simba. For some reason I hadn't saved the photos so finding them after all these years was really nice. I lost Simba April 9th, 4 weeks later on May 6th little Abi came to live with me. #AdoptDontShop 💞

I've offered Abi various foods (wet cat food of different brands, tuna, Whiskas biscuits). The one thing I hadn't tried was anything from the treat tin.She's just eaten a few Garfield treats & then tucked into the Felix chicken treats! Its given me some hope. #CatsOfTwitter

Abi's photo frame is up! There was already a nail in the wall on which I had whicker hearts hanging. Instead of trying to knock in 2 nails beneath that for the frame, it occurred to me to use that nail to hang the frame the old fashioned way and ... voilà! 💞 #LoveYouAbi 💞

Back from vet ... Abi was very brave (we've not been apart before) Her skin is showing signs of jaundice. Bloods being sent off, results hopefully Thursday & then we go from there with what happens next. She didn't have a scan as she's been through enough today. #CatsOfTwitter

Thank you for all the 🙏 & good wishes. Mama will go through them at some point. I'm having a blood test tomorrow to check my liver. I've had an anti sickness injection & I ate a little canned tuna (vet ok'd that) as soon as I got home. I'd not eaten all day, neither has mama.

@Hedgewatchers We're seeing the vet again on Friday. I'm going to ask if it can be removed. I read that regarding liver cancer in cats "Up to 75 percent of the liver can be surgically removed without pronounced loss of function" Yes please, I could really do with a paw circle. I'm in pieces.

Nov. 2010 @PDSA_HQ vet Naomi Williams saved Bailey’s life. He was re-homed with me April 2011. This link from Jan.2011 tells his story: “We’ve never seen a cat recover from such horrendous injuries.” He is indeed a miracle cat. HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY BAILEY!
