Bajaur, Pakistan — prior to the westward migration of Afghan tribes and Afghanism from Sulaiman Mountains — was home to an indigenous Tajik majority. Over 500 years, these people were eradicated (or Afghanized) in East Afghanistan. Remnants can be found in Kunar, Paktia, etc.
