When streaming first became A Thing, I had a weekly column on @Anime where I ranked every single title. Within a few seasons, it had doubled and become impossible. Shoji Kawamori said this weekend that fans don’t remember shows anymore because production cycles are too fast.

I knew translator pay was low, but some of the numbers I'm seeing from voice actors are just staggering and upsetting. No wonder they have to be on the road every weekend doing cons. My god, meet them at the table, pay them a decent wage, and let them be home with their families.
