Did you notice? On the last ball Ash hit a boundary. But India got only one run for it. That’s bcos they had completed a run before the ball went to boundary and India won. Instead of being 163, India’s score was 160. Would’ve made a small difference to NRR.

Virat Kohli is the only Indian batsman to score 100 runs by running between the wickets. He achieved this when he scored 160 against SA in 2018. He hit 12 fours and 2 sixes. Remember he also ran others’ runs too. Amazing athlete!! Easily one of the fittest game has seen.

A less appreciated skill of Sachin Tendulkar. He was an excellent fielder in the outfield. Even in later part of his career he used to field at deep mid wicket/square leg, deep cover/extra cover. He ran in quickly & picked the ball on the run. He had a very good flat throw too.
