@michael_nielsen I used to rate my risk tolerance against more or less dangerous than driving. (i.e. is spending an hour doing this less dangerous than driving? great, don't even think it through, just do it.) But driving has gotten safer, so I'm considering updating to something new.

@LauraDeming You may have to eat more! If I exercise heavily, I end up needing significantly more calories. If I exercise and don't increase my calorie intake, I feel similarly (not focused, lethargic, not creative.)

Through happenstance, I know 4 people who work at Anthropic. They all seem to fall into the "incredibly nice" and "incredibly smart" categories. Anthropic seems like a great place for excellent engineers.
