Just wanted to gush about the Gorgonopsid vs Future Predator scene in Primeval, One of the best "beast vs beast" animated fights ever. It really showed how, even if the Gorgo is MUCH less agile, it's still speedy, and how "animal from the future" doesn't mean superior.

Maybe people already know this, but one thing to keep in mind about horns and tusks is that they often don't kill instantaneously with one stab. It can take multiple stabs and/or a lot of time for death to occur.

Binging on "Beast Battles" that I like, both 2D and CGI films. Jungle Book 2016 had a good one in Shere Khan vs Baloo. It lasts 29 seconds, but is a great display of a "Power vs Power" match. IRL, Baloo would likely win, but that's how you sell the danger OF Shere Khan.
