The @LNER Train managers announcing "This is an LNER Intercity 225 service" is one of the coolest things. 91105 takes me to Doncaster.

More grid action this lunchtime as 56098 drags 60099 from Leicester L.I.P. To Loughborough Brush, I believe for continued works to reactivate the loco for DCR.

507001 has been located! Unfortunately today (as of the current moment) it's in New Brighton sidings, taking a bit of a rest. It does make for an exellent photo opportunity however, especially with the other PEPs on the New Brighton line.

Unfortunately my plan to get another run on 43007/43184 has not worked, but a HST is a HST, so here's 43366 and 43378 through the tunnels into Sheffield station this morning, working 1V50 from Edinburgh to Plymouth.

91109 as far as Peterborough this evening, which I only just managed to catch, due to my delay into Euston. Unfortunately for me the heavens opened as I was walking down the Euston Road, so some very rainy shots of the locomotive.

An LNER Intercity 225 set in Platform 3 at Newark Northgate, a sight which was once a fairly common and now extremely rare. 1A13, as operated by 91110 and NL17, looped this morning to allow a delayed Edinburgh to pass through on Platform 2.
