RE-INTRODUCTION OF THE ROYAL MILITARY POLICE SCARLET STABLE BELT The scarlet stable belt was first authorised for wear by the RMP in 1959, but only for the Mounted Troop of 158 Provost Company, however, on 25th July 1963 the belt was authorised for wear by all RMP personnel.

Corporal Olivia Jones of 150 Provost Company, 1 RMP recently deployed to Zambia as part of a Short Term Training Team with the 2nd Battalian Princess of Wales’ Royal Regiment. Corporal Jones’ specific role was to train and mentor members of the Zambian Defence Force.
