Explaining legal issues to non lawyers is very difficult. You have a lot of info to share but you mustn't share too much cos you risk confusing and losing them. The most difficult part is they wont give you feedback if they don't understand, they'd just nod along😀

If you're going to the law school this year or anytime and you plan to make good grades, you have no business receiving tutorials before resumption, or shortly after resumption, or even anytime during your year in law school. Emphasis on before and shortly after resumption.

One thing being a lawyer for almost a decade has taught me is that when you are privy to information about somebody, maybe experience you share with them, you bear a very delicate obligation/burden to refrain from even telling your own story, so long has it features another.

Tinubu is going to lose Lagos and the margin won't be close. I voted in Ikorodu and if you're familiar with Lagos politics you'd know this is an APC stronghold. LP has won all the 4 PUs I've checked now. Where I voted is a major APC (family) stronghold and they lost 79-78 there

Networking is in fact an important skill. I've made friends with french speaking Africans this week. Tonight I met a lawyer at my hotel who turns out to be a Managing Partner in a top tier law firm. I came out for a drink now and guess who came to join me for a drink...

We should truly recognize the unique nature of presidential election petition. It is fundamentally impossible to satisfy the onus as it is. The process is disingenuous and backward. A senseless man can discern the impracticability. It is not justice if it is an unbeatable joke.

Speaking from experience as a divorce attorney (Its not like I enjoy it), I can trace the root point of all the matters I've come accross, including clients who don't go through with it, to relationships that are not built primarily on love.

Very brilliant. Interesting story: we were nearing exams before I found out the note I made from the class was very far short of the syllabus. He was thoroughly practical by the way and I enjoyed the class.
