▻ What about MEV theft? 1/ @staderlabs_eth will have a mechanism in place to identify people trying to subvert MEV and have them actioned against. We'll be looking into whether to have a 3-strike policy or something slightly more stringent for this.

Not relying on third party players/other nodes within the network; hence, more sovereignty 3. Strengthening the network/decentralization

—this is not possible to know apriori. Hence, there will be strong deterrence with the chance of losing ~1 ETH on average. 3/ Talking only about MEV theft of extreme high numbers, 4 ETH v/s 8 ETH recourse is negligible and hardly makes a difference to net yield for users.

2/ The median daily MEVs are at ~0.2 ETH/day/validator. Someone changing their fee recipient, being caught and actioned with ~1.6 ETH fine would be expected to lose ~1 ETH. While there will be exceptions where someone gets high MEV (even 100-400 ETH)—

Being compatible with a whole host of hot wallets in theory is one thing– I had some reservations until I got around to importing mine. It was actually quite convenient, which makes it even better. All in all, seems like a pretty solid bet for storing assets long term.
