listen, I know everybody loves pathetic meow meow aegon (and you're all so valid for it!) BUT this millisecond of him being a cunt lives forever rent free in my mind
@BRIDEOFYRE
they're not even gonna let her be cunty, cursing her brother with her last breath ๐
I can definitely see Ali/cent making a cameo and taking Aegon iii's role in this
@vvave3005
isn't she one of the ppl Larys himself chose? ๐ My theory is that she went to alert him, so he'd have the advantage once the news were out.
But that can also be me trying to make the whole thing more GoT-sque ๐
@Marebarrow1929
see, I'd agree if they had them go through the tunnels like in the book and kill healena's guard. Them walking around the royal rooms, entering in and out with 0 problem because not a single guard was on sight was ridiculous for the show writing ๐ญ
yall need to realize survivors have different ways of copying. Some don't want to see a romanticization of taboo topics and some do because they're in control of a fictional setting and that's empowering to them.
"Aemond, despite the loss of his eye, had become a proficient and dangerous swordsman [...] but remained a wild and willful child, hot-tempered and unforgiving."
@daenaera_
literally nobody would complain to see vhagar being claimed twice if anything the fans could draw parallels and differences but Ryan wanted the bug moment for aemond. proof he's his own self insert
ppl in the quotes are really outing themselves 'cause how I - a freaky, pro shipper, immediately thought of the de-age anime trope when character A has to look out for the characters that turned chibi
And you, the holier than thou, normal person saw something.... sexual in this?
@nuhaprumia
I know someone may have simply liked the name but in my head, this gives me the vibe that the Velaryon princes weren't forgotten past the dance ๐ญ๐ฅบ Rhaena and Baela must have kept them in their stories and Velaryon descendant remembered
It's also extremely disgusting that fan creators are forced to speak out about their trauma to justify enjoying a taboo topic. Nobody owns you their past
And fiction IS fiction. How you treat a person behind a screen says more abt you than whatever someone draws, writes or tweets
@pyrotomie_
that's because people believe for some reason he's a family man ๐
it's fine if they want to write him like that ofc but he didn't give much shit in canon and he's an ambitious character who simply wanted to prove himself
idk about katness but Alina's ending was misogynistic af. She loved her powers and was only punished for "greed". The author later rewards her fav character but making her the avatar of grishaverse so don't come here and tell me the criticism for Alina isn't justified ๐
Alys was taken as "spoils of war"
Aemond massacrared the entire house strong, took her hostage, and raped her. Calling her a groomer merely because her age is vague is extremely misogynistic. Yall will bend over even for fictional men
oh pls, Nicki was important for Lestat and Louis was 100% aware of it and wasn't insecure over it in the books because he felt secure in his relationship with Lestat. yall are crazy insecure for 0 reason when loustat was, is and will remain the most popular ship
The problem with this take is that only the "perfect victim" gets validation and support. Nobody is a spokeperson of trauma and copy mechanism. People who feel grossed out are valid but they're also responsible to mute, block and not interact with stuff like this.
@gayfornyra
personally I loved her as an antagonist. the first time I read the book she pissed me off 'cause rhaenyra is my fav so I was biased. During my rereading though I cam to respect how intelligent manipulative and sly she was. Her hypocrisy was also both hilarious & frustrating
