The ascent to The Singularity began this week. Human cells were engineered into Anthrobots. AI designed 50,000 new stable materials. Realtime AI prompt generated image and 2d and 3d video arrived. We can't keep up. And we're trying! That's the takeoff to Singularity.

@tsarnick Sam's right, but GDP is not the way to measure economic activity in the age of AI. It's a largely useless metric, given that most major nations have a Debt to GDP ratio well over 100. "Growth" is now the expansion of Intelligence. It starts with a General Theory of Intelligence.
