My son’s Xbox controller died. We are out of batteries. There is a Dollar General about half a mile away. I offered to give him money if he’d like to walk or bike there to get some AAs. He then looked up at the smoke detector and asked what type of batteries it ran on. 🤦‍♀️

My son has been sick. Yesterday his girlfriend knocked on the door with a little care package for him. It included a box of Cheez-Its, some tissues, a little bear and some socks. My son was confused by the socks, but I totally understand that thinking. She’s a very sweet girl.
