Laura McKay, was dying of cancer when she promised her son she would help him meet Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price, his idol.

It's the 75th anniversary of the Cdn-led liberation of the Netherlands. I was so fortunate to cover the 70th anniversary (here @ the Holten Cdn War Cemetery). One of the most memorable experiences of my life & one I'm grateful for. 7600 Cdns died during the 9 mo campaign.
