Just returned from Malta, a country with around one case a day, 14 day average of 9/100,000. To a country with 10,000 cases a day. I’m fully vaccinated but still have to take 3 tests and isolate for 10 days. Is it just me that feels the world has gone mad? #amberlist

So after the WHO says their have been no none deaths from Omicron, two countries reduce travel restrictions while the UK introduces pre departure testing from Tuesday (after saying they wouldn’t) as well as isolating until day 2 PCR tests. I give up. @grantshapps

I’m SHOCKED at my @airfrance flight from Dubai today. Had heard mixed reviews. But it was amazing. Such a wonderful crew. The champagne service, the food (including Foie gras and crab), the wines. Also liked the seat too on this B777-200. #luxurytravel

I literally have no idea why anyone would vote the BA app the best travel app unless they’ve never used it. Or never used any other app. Works maybe 50% of the time. Prior to a couple of weeks ago it was more like 20%.

Now we have TV doctor @DrHilaryJones saying we shouldn’t go abroad due to sharing air on planes & crowded airports. In that case we shouldn’t use buses, tubes or trains either. Aircraft replace air every 2-3 minutes with HEPA filtered air. What other public transport does that?

Part of the issue at Manchester is the ridiculous number of secondary screenings of luggage. I’ve never seen any other airport as bad for it. I’d love to know what criteria they are using versus Heathrow where I very rarely if ever get secondary screening.

Wow @lufthansa . Totally unacceptable. You are telling a deaf customer to keep trying to use the phone? Is their hearing going to suddenly come back?! @British_Airways has Twitter, BSL Video Relay Service with SignLive, Minicom and an email address for deaf customers.

For those that complain about Club Europe on BA, they should try @SAS Plus. I knew there was no meal. On my 1 hour flight they announced flight was too short to offer proper service. Yet in the same time BA would offer a full meal plus a couple of drinks. Here is what I got:

Totally agree. BA has today removed the option to switch back to the old design. The new Manage my Booking is totally unusable. Can't find how to do basic things - you can't actually manage anything with it. All that will happen is more work for call centres. Your frequent flyers
