NEW results from the second biggest trial ( N>100) of #psilocybin assisted therapy for #depression have just been published in @JAMA_current . The study shows a sustained antidepressant response lasting at least 6 weeks as well as improvements in psychosocial functioning.

When will #MDMA therapy actually be commercialised? End of 2024 seems the time. Latest plans from @MAPS plan to release data from Phase 3 in the next 3 months, and submit to the FDA by the end of 2023. FDA approval is expected by half of 2024, and first patients end of 2024.

4/ We found significant improvements in sexual communication, pleasure, and satisfaction post-psychedelic use, lasting up to 6 months. People were also more satisfied of physical appearance, open to new sexual experiences and viewed sex as a more spiritual act.
