Wait a min! Ima definitely have to pull up to Sudo Bar & Grill in Ellenwood I see they going BIG ON BIG over there bringing that shit AHT! Next big event MAY 2ND!!!
I don’t want anymore surface level relationships, friendships, etc. There’s what you see on social media & then there’s me. I feel as if I’m patient enough to explore ppl on a deeper level but it’s hardly ever reciprocated.
People keep saying Atlanta needs a COLORS or a Tiny Desk series & we really just have to start researching & supporting what we have to make it bigger.
85 South Show & Velvet Residence already doing this...lets support & make them bigger & stop waiting on companies to infiltrate
Around this time 2 years ago I was sucidial. Had a degree with no job, no car, no money. Finances are overflowing, my job is currently paying for my Masters, & I love my car.
The storm doesn't last forever ❤️

When I tell y’all life comes full circle. Why these folks at my CORPORATE job just asked me to start doing interviews for their IGTV 😭. Won’t he do it 🙌🏾
If you’re a creative and your family supports you...don’t ever take that for granted. With most creatives I meet it’s always a similar story of a lonely journey.
Be careful when asking y’all entertainment friends “what’s next” or “when you gonna start back doing events.” That shit can make folks depressed. Most ppl had big things planned & huge opportunities before corona.
Nobody puts up a fight anymore in relationships. One bad day and folks are outta there talking about “settling.” There’s very little grace, patience, or real work put in. No two ppl are raised alike…at what point do we actually learn to grow together and adapt?
S/o to
@audiomack
for giving so many artists the opportunity to be seen.
Thank you to everyone that’s been going so hard for me. I literally got booked b/c of y’all & that’s crazy 🎤
Aye man ion care what y’all say bout a 9-5, my 401k looking good asf and I can provide my family with the best benefits they’ve ever had 🤩. I’m blessed corporately & creatively.
Brought over 100 artists and 50 small business owners to Artisans Bar this year and didn’t have to charge anybody a dime and STILL made a profit.
So grateful to be able to community build and not lose any money 🙏🏾
After 655,497 years of waiting the

Men really have more insecurities than women. And a lot of these insecurities are disguised by abuse (verbal/mental/physical) or simply being emotionally unavailable.
Don’t wait until Sept to try & get on someone’s A3C stage or any other festival.
Make it a goal to build relationships with curators & key players. Get your materials together: One Sheeter, EPK, performance videos, interviews, creative content, etc.
Sucks when artists that didn’t show love to the journalists, curators, DJs etc that pushed their content end up falling out with their management... later have to circle back and rebuild these connects on their own & it’s not the same.
Netflix tried to partner with Blockbuster and they declined their idea....today Blockbuster is extinct.
Moral of the story, don’t let anybody make you feel like your ideas and dreams are bogus.
I used to be embarrassed as fuck when people would find out my dad is gay. Fuck it.
I love him & the fact that he is happy and comfortable with himself 😍👨👧
So artists plz DO NOT be hurt by not being apart of A3C this year
- The festival is EVERY year so u can always plan ahead 4 next yr
- There are more & more festivals being created
- Just bc you’re not on a stage, doesn’t mean u can’t make ur presence felt in the city that week
We really have to give people their flowers. That means = acknowledging their gifts, giving proper credits to their work, showing up for them, checking on them, etc. Simply just paying more attention & sometimes SPEAKING UP ❤️
The smaller blogs will tap into your campaign harder than the larger ones who wanna quick $ bc of their numbers.
Anyone that’s paid me (and were good) I literally spread word of mouth or looked out for performance opportunities 💯
Can’t wait til there’s a documentary on Atlanta from 2010-2020. From the clubs, infrastructure, the high schools AND colleges, reality TV, influx of black creatives, social media, etc.
As much as people like to bash my home venue (Artisans Bar) I will say this...
Majority of these venue owners do NOT want black crowds in their venues. Artisans let you smoke, put up ya artwork, perform how you want, very affordable, and is BLACK OWNED/hip-hop invested.
So Twitter did it’s thing & I’m excited to host

How I created a whole brand with no professional/industry experience, no mentor, no “plugs” is still mind blowing to me. I’m blessed to have ppl that rock with me while I’m still learning 💯
