We just published some bug fixes. The biggest one is following other players to their server using the RTD. This should work much more reliably now! We've also made some huge improvements that should cut way down on lag (especially on mobile)! As always, let us know of new bugs.

Loomian Legacy's Battle Engine code is some of the oldest code in the game. It has been riddled with bad practices and hacky workarounds for a long time. I have wanted to clean it up for a long time, but never wanted to introduce new bugs (if it works, it works, right?) (1/4)

we tried juggling event development (Sweet Retreat, Cosmiore) with Atlanthian development. We tried the same with simple, frequent updates (Vari). In both cases, it significantly slowed Atlanthian development. We were able to complete the Battle Engine overhaul and a little 2/4

This rewrite took me about two weeks. It has enabled me to fix some obscure bugs (like gleam pharo/reindeer/cosmiore mounts), fix security issues, and has set me up to be able to add new features a lot easier. (3/4)

While implementing Soul Burst, I encountered some issues and was faced with a huge choice: fix the issues with more hacky workarounds, OR rewrite major portions of the system the right way and do a lot of cleaning up. I am happy to say that I chose the latter. (2/4)
