Bullying and threats are not acceptable forms of exchange. HRM NIMBYs need to be shown the door. NIMBYism, by its very nature, deprives people of opportunities. NIMBYs are a harm to our fellow citizens - even without threats of violence.

What's happening to the many trees charred by the N.S. wildfire?

The wildfire that hit the Hammonds Plains and Upper Tantallon areas of Nova Scotia burned about 950 hectares and destroying 151 homes, but all those burned trees will not go to waste.

New MRI tech means faster, more precise imaging. Scans using a new 1.5 Tesla (1.5T) MRI began September 16. The new tech will help in areas such as neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, abdominal and urological care.
