This is my mom who is 73. She married at 19 and my dad shielded her from everything. He died in 2006. My mom had never done a single thing without him.She was shattered. It was a slow climb back. She refused to live with me or my bro. Look at her now ! So proud of her ! #mom

A tip especially for women authors : Please don’t be apologetic to promote or talk about your work. If you have written a book let the world know ! Don’t explain by saying “book plug” or “Promo alert” etc . If you don’t own your book no one will.

Got my #covishield vaccine today. It was a really smooth and easy process. I registered on the #cowin site and went at the allotted time. Of course , I read a book while I waited 😊. Waited hardly for 10-15 minutes. Kudos to the health authorities in India ! #vaccinated

We in India should stop glorifying the exam toppers. Over 13,000 students died in 2021 in India (report by NCRB) at the rate of more than 35 every day--reason was failure in exams. One exam doesn't make your life. We must stop this insane pressure.

I get these messages from people : “I want to be a writer but I don’t know what to write.” If you feel this way you are writing for the wrong reasons. It’s not your calling. Try something else. When you *want* to write it will burst forth like a volcano. Nothing will stop you.
