Bajčetić is set to return in 2024, but because of his growth spurt it could take even longer. Patience is key here. In the meantime, we have Mac Allister and Endo performing at high levels doing exactly what we need them to do.

Because both fullbacks move forward in possession, the 6 oftentimes drops down inbetween the two CBs to give the team more cover on counter-attacks. This positioning by the 6 also occurs in build-up when the LB moves up. Klopp uses his 6 like you would Frank Rijkaard.

Stefan Bajčetić is crazy fluid, Liverpool have such a talent on their hands but I worry about them wanting to use him deeper. That fluidity is a core reason why he's so suited to the half spaces, there's a creative ceiling in those tight spaces which is tailor made for the 8.

Trent at LB is definetly a viable option. We’ve seen him on the left in moments, and it’s an interesting experiment. He instantly becomes a better passing option when inverting, as he recieves the ball better in the left of a pivot rather than the right. 1/4

Dean Huijsen is an all-timer CB. 6’5, long legs which allows him further reach in tackles, as well as the ability to quickly shut down space. Defensive fundamentals on lock, and his footballing IQ is through the roof. And on top of that he can play every pass in the book.
