Four IITs, an IIM and IISc came out in protest. The numbers may not be large, but these protests are extremely significant. IITs/ IIMs are known for producing people who do not get involved in politics. Many of their graduates are sympathetic to the RW. Glad they protested too.

Mother-in-law jokes. Nagging wife jokes. Female driver jokes. None of them is 'funny'. When we make them, laugh at them, or remain silent when they are cracked, we end up normalising patriarchal stereotypes. Learn to call out such 'jokes', even if it a friend cracking them.
