BREAKING: South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg officially announces he is running for President of the United States in 2020.
“My name is Pete Buttigieg, they call me ‘Mayor Pete.’ I am a proud son of South Bend, Indiana and I’m running for President of the United States,” he said.
BREAKING — Saint Mary’s reverses its decision to consider transgender applicants for admission, according to a Thursday morning email from College President Katie Conboy and Board chair Maureen Karantz Smith.
Saint Mary's approved a policy in June 2023 to consider admission of applicants "who consistently live and identify as women.” The change in the College's non-discriminatory policy was approved by the Board of Trustees.
BREAKING: Notre Dame students, staff and faculty will be able to purchase football tickets for the 2020 season, according to an email from athletic director Jack Swarbrick. Students will be be seated with their roommates, or "households," according to University policy.
On October 24, two Notre Dame students were killed in a car accident, and one was injured.

Protestors marched tonight during a 10-minute fireworks show for the end of President Fr. John Jenkins’ tenure. Administration and police did not stop the protests, though tents from their sit-in were removed earlier in the evening.
Tommy McNamara, a Notre Dame senior, stopped a robbery on Friday afternoon. After convincing the perpetrator to give up a stolen purse, McNamara gave the individual his phone number in case he needed life help.
Notre Dame is one of 16 universities named in a federal lawsuit. The institutions are accused of alleged price fixing and colluding with other schools to limit students' financial aid, according to reporting from the Wall Street Journal.

BREAKING: Gov. Holcomb announced Indiana residents 16 and older will qualify for the coronavirus vaccine beginning March 31.
