ESPN found gold in JJ Redick, and I desperately hope they begin to realize you can win with professionalism and authenticity instead of having analysts playing characters, and living off intentionally poor takes for the sake of clicks and ratings.

That's hardly the point.
You can't call yourself World Champion off theoretical basis.
Now, if you were to create a World Championship for club teams, you could call yourself that, because then you actually went through it.
Anything else is hubris.
DeMar DeRozan's biggest idol was Kobe Bryant.
Here's how HAUNTINGLY SIMILAR their Age 32-seasons are on a Per36 scale:
DeMar: 26.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 7.8 FT/A, 23.8 PER
Kobe: 26.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 7.6 FT/A, 23.9 PER
That's borderline creepy.

Right, they'll have a good 10 years before they get killed in their classrooms by the direct actions of your party. Good point, cult member.
@tamo46
And yet, it remains factually inaccurate. Especially as the NBA is a club tournament.
Hell, even extending it to international competition, since 1986, the United States haven't even won half of the actual World Championships.
It's an incredibly arrogant description.
Biograferne: Vi bløder! Ingen kommer og besøger os længere.

In talking with multiple sources around the NBA, many believe Hawks on verge of trading for San Antonio's All-Star guard Dejounte Murray - However, it's looking like John Collins is not part of deal. Would be Gallo & multiple 1st round picks. Spurs prepping for future & '23 draft
The Pacers, a team stuck in mediocrity for years, finally had an epiphany.
"Let's just take advantage of teams that undervalue their own young talent!"
Haliburton first, Ayton now, and I guess we'll see who's next on the list in a few months.
“We believe that the Indiana Pacers are very close to giving Deandre Ayton an offer sheet or executing a sign-and-trade…We could see something with the Pacers and Ayton as early as today.” (via

So. Another first.
I was asked by the Suns to write a piece on Iffe Lundberg for their site, mening I have now achieved a life-long goal of having written something for the league's official dot com.
This is the piece. I think you should click on it.
This is my son.
At the supermarket, he fell ill.
From call to arrival of ambulance: 6 minutes.
He's so far gotten two EKG's and we're waiting for a blood test.
How much debt will hang over us for this?
Not a single dime.
Don't overthink this: Universal health care is good.
@zachbraff
And, maybe more importantly, respect the choices from the people around you. If you wish to be manly, fine, but accept and respect the guy next to you who wants to do something else.
It's really not that difficult.
DeMar DeRozan over his past 11 games:
33.4 points
6.2 rebounds
5.9 assists
57.8 FG%
88.3 FT% (9.4 FTA)
He's now averaging a career-high 27.4 points per game, at age 32.
Iffe Lundberg's old club, Falcon, and his wife Camilla, threw a surprise party tonight, celebrating his contract with the Suns.
Highly emotional night. Lots of happy tears and smiles all around. Tremendous sense of pride in the air.
Oh, and here's the cake.
@tamo46
You can be arrogant when you've gone through it, and actually beaten teams from outside the country.
Calling yourself anything, before you've won it, is insane.
Should the 97 Bulls just not have played that season and still called themselves champs?
The Phoenix Suns are expected to ‘aggressively’ shop Chris Paul this summer, per
@espn_macmahon
It’s ‘pretty likely’ that Chris Paul will be playing for a different team next season 😳

League source: Should the NBA sign a new TV deal worth $75 billion, early projections indicate that a 2025 salary cap number of $171 million is possible, assuming no cap smoothing.

We overwhelmingly disagree on the justification of such a description. It's not fitting. There is indeed a large reason to not use that label.
Gimme a World Cup for club teams, and we can amend it. Until then, it's American arrogance at its finest.

So we recently told our 7-year old, that he's going to be a big brother. He's been waiting YEARS for this. So naturally, we recorded it. And yes, I subtitled it, so you'd all understand.
@NekiasNBA
No, you're not.
They took a TON of crap in those years. And recently the same voices have begun talking again about Jokić.
Draymond is being ridiculous here.
I am utterly and completely in love with the Blazers/Nuggets series. Both teams are entirely unselfish, execute at a high level, play intense ball, and have remarkable individual talent. It's exactly what a playoff series should be.
Hope it goes seven.
Everybody is busy talking about the depth of the Lakers, not realizing this year's King Of Depth will be the Utah Jazz.

Saw this the other day and had that exact thought.
Prime Draymond was absolutely ridiculous. The scoring was actually somewhat reliable, which just gave him such a larger ceiling.
Over the past two seasons, Zach LaVine has been in the 97th percentile as a cutter. He was in the 90th percentile as a spot-up shooter this year, and in the 94th in 20-21.
Dalen Terry is probably the best guard in the draft in knowing how to use off-ball players.

Hej basketfans!
I have no horse in this race whatsoever, but the attempted gaslighting we saw from Heat fans during all this makes what actually transpired EXTREMELY funny.

Conservatives: Let's arm teachers and have actual guns in the classroom.
Also conservatives: Sex toys in the classroom? Our children are in danger!
Got the keys to our new place today.
The place comes with a common house that includes an indoor basketball court.
I probably won't ever see my son again.
I dag bliver min ven

bisat.
I don't think the Kings were losers here. Keegan Murray is outstanding, rarely makes mistakes, plays within himself, and is the best scorer in the draft.
I get the Ivey upside. Truly. But Murray is a rock solid pick.
På mandag begynder jeg på
@TV2SPORTdk
Not my most flattering angle, but I don't care. This is one of my new favorite pictures.

Dumbest basketball move ever, man.
Here's Iffe arriving.
He thought he had the court booked for the evening. Instead, hundreds of kids, family, friends, and fans had gathered to celebrate him.

You're definitely not tripping. That right there is the "emotional self-provocation" tactic that we all used when we were 8 years old.

I'll be contributing 30 offseason primers in the coming weeks for the always fantastic

Never thought I'd see my name on a byline there. Definitely a bucket list moment.
First up, the Phoenix Suns.
The Phoenix Suns are signing two-way G/F Ishmail Wainright to a new contract for the remainder of the season, making him eligible for the playoffs, sources tell

Vedrørende lukningen af Crunch Time:
At arbejde sammen med Peter Wang er en af de bedste oplevelser, jeg nogensinde har haft i min karriere.
En af de mest godhjertede og varme mennesker, der findes derude. En sand éner.
Buddy Hield's last 55 games in Sacramento:
14.4 points, 54.0 TS%, 1.9 assists
Since becoming a Pacer (40 games):
18.2 points, 57.5 TS%, 4.2 assists
He was always good. The fact that he was widely perceived as just a salary-matching component in that trade remains WILD to me.
Some personal news.
I'll be joining the NBA crew over at
@HeavySan
where I'll be covering the Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors.
Thank you

It's fascinating to me how much of this is directly tied to Ingram refusing to change his shot profile.
If he was taking 8-9 three-pointers per game, more than likely we wouldn't be having this conversation.
His reluctance will cost him millions.
"He is a poster boy for the new reality in the NBA which is you can't have a max player not play like a max player... It's not that Ingram isn't desired as a player, they don't desire the circumstances."

And we shouldn't forget the guy won EuroBasket just four years ago, at age 18.
This was LITERALLY his first international loss for the Slovenian senior national team.
Zach LaVine has been outstanding for months now, and yet he's flying completely under the radar.
Some of that is inarguably due to the Bulls being inconsistent and - let's face it - super weird, but even so, he deserves more press.
As some of you know, I don't mind being vulnerable on this app from time to time.
Well, that time is now.
About a month ago, my Danish NBA radio show was canceled.
It stings, and I want to talk about how the last month has been for me.
🧵
Earlier today, I had the chance to ask San Antonio Spurs head coach, Gregg Popovich, how he balances personal development and basketball development.
Unsurprisingly, Pop took his time to provide a thoughtful answer.
