@ShahidkBolsen
Yeah, they're really protecting them, keeping them hidden from the IDF looking for them, and under chain / gun to be kept from running away.
@Soloman_klarman
@amjadt25
Numbers made up by Hamas. We won't know the true extent of casualties until it's over because ALL data in the fog of war comes from Hamas and the IDF. Hamas also refuses to separate civilians from fighters. The fact that they're reporting vastly more male than female is a clue.
@MannieMighty1
80% of Israelis were born in Israel, and about 10% of Israelis have dual residency. But nice of you to want to load 7 million Jews on trains.
@damnitmadeline
@lukevanin
Most peoples, when they lose a war they started, don't try to win eventually by passing the resentment down. There was no need to attack Israel in 1947/8 instead of building a Palestine.
@nairdasamek
@ApostateProphet
Let's think about water and electricity. Why should Israel provide these two to a place that is trying to destroy it? They did it anyway.
@a_sherief
@Yampeleg
1948 was 75 years ago. Most people of Israel were born there. They bought their homes, worked to pay mortages. 7 million Jews are not going to be ethnically cleansed out of their country.
@itslaylas
It's because most times they try to talk to them, they say TALK TO THE ORGANIZER because they can't really explain why they're there, they just don't like Jews.
@mykkal
@KyivIndependent
The problem is admitting a country that is ALREADY at war. Deterrent factor is 0%, and the moment they join you have to look at article 5. Then you get nuclear winter, or if someone votes no, NATO becomes a paper tiger.
@AkaLazarus
@HenshiG
Haha. So their conditions for ceasefire are "pull out of all of the territory you took to help us win". Do you not understand that they declared war with 7.10?
@nigelstfu
@HenMazzig
They wanted a 5 day pause for a trivial number of people, to rest and restock, and I'd bet dinars to donuts they were supposed to be released at the END of it. Now that Gaza City is surrounded, it's harder to restock.
@mortenbc58
@NormOrnstein
Considering there is a war with an exceptionally low 1:1 civilian:fighter casualty ratio following the day of genocide on Oct 7 - fixed that for you.
@heatherscope
Jesus, this guy has 440 HOURS of sick pay to use. That's 55 days at 8 hours a day, or 11 WEEKS - just short of 3 months. Our countries low wage workers get nowhere near that, if any.
@_ZachFoster
@realMaalouf
Footnote: 17,000 Jews expelled from the West Bank and Gaza. Zero Jews allowed to stay here from 49-67, while lots of Arabs became Israeli citizens.
@Rachael_Swindon
Good news, Israel is only evacuating the south end of Rafah right now, plenty of time for those parents to pack up their kids and go. IDF dropped flyers before the current op.
@immipti1
@Resist_05
In fact, Arabs sold a lot of (British mandate) land to Jewish buyers, before the borders of the state of Israel were drawn around those properties.
@gramstude3
@climate
The wealthies are the earlier adopters. The price will continue to come down. Eventually it will be lower because you can give up expensive units like catalytic converters.
@MalakaShwaikh
It's because when you're fighting a war, stopping your enemy's ability to communicate is crucial. It's unfortunate it hurts civilians ability to communicate too. Hopefully Ham's surrenders soon so this all ends.
@slavjew
@sentdefender
Gaza City is surrounded, and a lot of their tunnels are destroyed. Hamas's ability to restock has been severely hampered. Here's a few days for civilians to feel more safe to flee, and for Hamas to drain on their own food and fuel stockpile.
@matt_saunders_
@francis_scarr
@iainmartin1
Yeah, well a few months after the nukes start to fly every soldier everywhere will be huddling trying to survive the deathly cold of nuclear winter, so I don't think it matters.
@BenEhrenreich
So you can wait until the other party leaves the table, negotiate a cease fire with a third-party country, and then declare that the person who you were negotiating with should have accepted what you drew up in their absence?
@firasshams1
So will Hams get away with holding the hostages despite the ICJ's orders to unconditionally let them go? You don't seem upset about that.
(No, they won't.)
