Eight years ago my mate Smit died of bowel cancer aged 28. This flag was one of things his parents gave me when they were sorting through his things. Always promised I'd take it to the first tournament Scotland (men) qualified for since his passing and well, here we are 💙🤍.

I believe that if you get women's football in Scotland in front of people's eyes and give it appropriate levels of hype then people will buy into it. It's not perfect; there are elements that need to be better, but with consistent and coherent promotion, it can absolutely fly.

The Qatari women's national football team was formed in 2010 as an appeasement for a World Cup bid. They have played just sixteen games. Once in the last eight years. A 5-0 victory in an unofficial friendly again Afghanistan. This winter get out and support women's football.
